USB-C (II): Battery

This is the 3rd post related to latest releases on MiniVAP about USB-C. Keep reading to know why we are re-defining the past.

Let’s imagine for a moment the year 2008 (the same age as the cat in the photo). Lithium-ion batteries were just beginning to be used in electronic devices. But, initially, only in exclusive devices, such as high-end mobile phones. These included lithium-ion batteries and specific chargers for those batteries.

At that time, MiniVAP was finalizing the design of the first portable vaporizers on the market with lithium-ion batteries. Thanks to the high capacity of lithium batteries, it offered great autonomy, although it required a Charging Base and a specific charger.

But times have changed. The environment evolves, as do we and our products: we advance to adapt to the changes.

As you have read in previous articles: we are shedding weight.

Fewer Parts: More Convenient and Eco-friendly

Not just to adapt to the environment, but also to make the daily use of your MiniVAP vaporizer easier.

We have improved the design, discretion, and mobility to travel. You can now forget about the old charging system. Both the Base and the Official Charger will soon be discontinued with the intention of reducing the use of plastic and electronic equipment. Obviously the carbon footprint will be also smaller, by reducing the weight of shipments to customers.

This summer, with just your phone charger in your bag, you can enjoy MiniVAP wherever you want.

What’s New

The new MiniVAP battery with a USB type C port is an improvement over the previous model.

It provides added value to your MiniVAP experience as it includes a USB-C port on the base and a light indicator for the charging status and type.

It allows charging the battery with a USB-C cable from almost any USB-port. Also compatible with Quick Charge and Power Delivery standards.

The interface consists of:

1 USB-C input port
1 charging status light: RED– charging | GREEN– fast charging | BLUE– fully charged

MV USB-C Battery connected to a USB power source

With only an additional 4mm in height at the base, you can enjoy this feature that marks a before and after in the way you charge your MiniVAP vaporizer.

When you travel, go camping, or attend a concert, forget about the Official Charger and the Charging Base. Just take your phone charger or power bank. Discreet, simple, and easy to use.

The bottom case is made of thicker nylon, providing greater durability and robustness against drops.

Ready for the Change?

This new accessory discontinues the Official Charger and the MiniVAP Charging Bases. Existing users can upgrade their battery or purchase the MV Charging Adapter: another newly available product for those who want to continue using the MiniVAP Base.

The MiniVAP USB-C Battery is available in the store, under the Accessories/Power section.

You can also Update your Battery by simply replacing the base parts with the new charging set. Find this upgrade in the Update section.
